Cooper Battery Starter Cable Wiring Lead Power Positive
Removal steps of car starter battery cable
1. Confirm the location of the battery: Generally, the battery of the vehicle is distributed in the following locations: near the spare tire in the trunk, under the driver's seat, under the passenger seat, and on the left front or right front of the engine compartment.
2. Prepare disassembly tools: generally prepare a No. 10 casing wrench and a flat-blade screwdriver. First, use a wrench to loosen the screw on the negative pole of the battery. For a newly installed battery or a new car, grab the negative pole of the battery and twist it left and right. It can be removed with a few clicks, and the old car needs to be removed by prying up a few times at the opening of the negative wire with a flat-blade screwdriver.
3. Wrap the negative electrode of the battery well: avoid the negative electrode line returning to its original position due to internal stress, and misconnecting the negative electrode of the battery will cause unnecessary damage to the vehicle. At the end of the installation, you can install it in reverse order.
