Connection between copper busbar and electrical components
1. Requirements for direct connection: When the terminal of the component is flat, the busbar connection can be directly fastened with bolts as shown in the figure, but the fasteners must be made of steel.
2. When the component joint is a screw, the busbar can be directly connected to the screw, as shown in the figure below, in order to prevent loosening, a lock nut should be added, and a washer should not be added between the lock nut.
Assembly of copper busbars
1. The connection between the busbar and the busbar, and the busbar and the electrical components shall be fastened with through bolts, and the tightening force of the through bolts shall meet the requirements in Table 9.
2. The lap contact surface of the busbar should be kept clean. (If there are special requirements, it can be coated with electric compound grease)
3. When the busbar is placed horizontally, the bolts should be worn from bottom to top. In other cases, the nut should be placed on the maintenance side. After the spring washer is flattened, it is advisable to rotate it into half to tighten the torque. At this time, the length of the bolt should expose the nut 2~ 5 buckles.
4. Washers should be applied on both sides of the bolt, there should be a clear distance of 3mm between the washers of adjacent bolts, and spring washers or lock nuts should be installed on the nut side.
5. The bolts should be uniformly stressed, and the terminals of electrical devices should not be subject to additional stress.
6. There should be no stress after the busbar is installed.
7. The busbar connection can be protected by a special insulating sleeve.
