Stainless Steel Processing Laser Cutting Sheet Metal Parts
Precautions for laser cutting
1. Laser cutting operators must be trained, familiar with the structure and performance of the equipment, and master the relevant knowledge of the operating system. Designate a safety administrator, clarify the scope of responsibility, and only educate the laser equipment operators for safe operation and operators who need to be protected.
2. Wear labor protection equipment as required. The laser cutting process produces a strong ultraviolet light band. This ultraviolet light is mainly absorbed by the cornea of the human eye. Once the worker absorbs this ultraviolet light, the eye will slowly inflame, causing obvious discomfort to the eye. Therefore, the required safety glasses must be worn in the vicinity of the laser beam.
3. Delineate the laser cutting safety management area, and set up warning signs at the entrance and exit of the management area.
4. Clarify the application range of laser cutting processing. When it is not clear whether a material can be irradiated or heated by laser, do not process it to avoid danger.
5. Keep the fire extinguisher within easy reach; turn off the laser or optical switch when not working; do not place paper, cloth or other flammable materials near the unprotected laser beam.
